✨ What’s Inside the GRORO POT Kit?
Upon opening the box, I was warmly greeted by Groro’s character illustration—it already felt inviting!
The kit includes:
- 🌱 Melampodium ‘Jackpot Gold’ seeds
- 🌾 3 peat pellets (jiffy/peat) for seed germination
- 📘 Instruction guide
- 🌸 Mini accessories with cheerful design (aesthetic bonus!)
The overall packaging is adorable and thoughtfully arranged—it made me smile just unpacking it.
🌡️ Winter Growing Challenge
Since it’s winter in Korea (around -4°C the day I planted), I decided to start with just one pellet instead of all three.
While germination is possible indoors, blooming might be difficult without a smart growing system or grow light setup.
Still, I wanted to give it a try and document the process!
🍀 Planting the Seeds
The seeds are extremely tiny, so I gently picked two and tucked them into the center of the hydrated peat pellet.
Then I lightly covered them with the surrounding soil.
- Soak the pellet in warm water until it fully expands
- Insert the seeds in the center
- Lightly cover with soil
- Place in a warm, indirect light location
The ideal temperature for germination is 22°C, and it typically takes 1–2 weeks to see results.
